G Suite Migrate Beta

Confidently migrate large amounts of valuable content

G Suite Migrate is a new first-party product to help admins assess and plan migration projects, and confidently migrate large amounts of valuable content directly into G Suite. Initially launching in beta, G Suite Migrate is built on the technology from Google Cloud’s acquisition of AppBridge in 2017.

Assess: Understand your organization's data corpus

With G Suite Migrate, admins can quickly understand the size and shape of their data corpuses. Scanning source environments can help accurately plan for key project milestones and watch points.

Migrate: Do not disrupt end-user productivity

G Suite Migrate is a highly performant and robust migration solution optimized for enterprise scale migrations to G Suite. Additionally, G Suite Migrate provides high fidelity for migrated content from supported sources: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and File shares so that there is little to no disruption to end-user productivity. The following versions will be supported as part of the beta program:

  • Exchange: Exchange 2010, Exchange 2013, Exchange 2016, and Office 365.
  • Sharepoint: SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint online, OneDrive for Business.
  • File shares: Windows File Servers, NAS, SAN, Network Shares, NFS repositories.

Track: Quickly measure project progress and health

Summary logs allow admins to quickly identify aggregate project progress and health, while detailed transaction logs also provide visibility to every object migrated as an individual log item. Admins can navigate easily between both logs to find critical project information quickly and easily.
