A User of Advanced Find & Replace
This is basically a tool for things like bolding particular words and phrases, but it isn't really "Advanced".
The formatting options are essentially B/I/U. It does not allow you to turn words or phrases into titles, subtitles, or headings. Its support for regular expressions is also poor, so that you cannot, say, match groups of characters and move them around, like matching all characters before and after a comma and reversing them, which is to say you can't match (LAST), (FIRST) and then reformat the line to read FIRST LAST. It also provides no way to match a subset of a phrase (in my case, all text between colons) and then preserve just the match in the replacement.
So, not bad for what it does -- bulk bolding and italicizing -- but what it does is less than the name suggests.
