My company have been use Appogee Leave for 1 year. I run an Asia-based company and it works well to me. Right now it has an Android app but running as web. I hope there will be a native iOS/Android app someday to provide better mobility.

We were previously working with another system that only served to highlight some of the major challenges in producing a leave management tool. It wasn't flexible, and couldn't reflect the complexity and unique elements of our organisation's structure. Appogee has solved those problems, through its high level of configurability. Having it as part of the Apps suite, and the fact that it looks great for users, are added bonuses.

Much needed for small businesses. Administering holiday is fraught with difficulties, including arguments, errors and fraud. While solutions exist in top-flight HR software for managing hundreds of employees, companies with only a half-dozen are left in the cold. This app fixes that by providing something simple and easy, and makes that problem 'go away'. Well done.

We implemented Appogee Leave over a year ago for about 75 staff and have found it to meet our requirements which are: a) reduce paper/printing costs, b) reduced errors, c) improved timeliness, d) better control and audit of approvals and e) improved staff to payroll and HR communication. Web based Appogee leave also allows us to plan and easily implement some team restructuring options we are considering. Problems moving from our complex paper-based system were either resolved or worked out with Appogee Leave support staff's help.

We looked for a holiday app to manage our staffs holidays as we where keeping holiday forms and it was not working, users constantly not filling them out, loosing sheets etc. Payrol had to go through them each month for wages etc. Now that we joined Google Apps we found Appogee Leave which is a great product for managing holidays all round. We had a few problems at the start as it was a new product when we first set it up but the telephone and e-mail support was great and any problems we reported where fixed quickly. Then all our suggestions where taken into consideration for the new software release in December 2011 and the new version is much much better and more sturdy. So I highly recommend this poduct if you want to manage all your staffing and holiday needs. Systems Admin (Greyhound Recycling Ireland)

Pro's: Simple for employees, even people with little computer experience Good UI for users - clean and intuitive to use Good integration with Google Apps including activation of users and calendar Would be excellent for a small company Con's 1) Very time-consuming to set up for a larger company. There is no easy way to enter historical leave or sick time and there is no way to enter planned future leave time. 2) No way to view total planned leave time for specified periods of time. For example, if you want to see how many total hours or days of leave in your team next month, or in week X, there is no way to get this information out of the system. For us, this is important for capacity planning for larger teams. 3) Help files are weak. There is little information there. 4) Pricing is not transparent. For example, if you need 51 licenses, you have to pay for 100. That is explained if you read the fine print, but they could make it a lot clearer.

We're implementing this in our 120+ person organisation. It already saves HR time and structures the leave workflow. Ease of use and configurability are strong points. There have been minor glitches, but the helpdesk has been great at adressing these. 1-2 reported bugs were quickly resolved. We would like to see more flexibility and a more logical way of reporting, since we have an international setup and we need f.e. to be able to export data on a per-team basis.

Love the new Appogeee Leave! It has most of the functionality we need, and works very well too. Great customer support with all their products. A few of my suggestions for V2 appear to have made it in too! There are a few additions that would make Appogee Leave the perfect Time Management and Leave System, although I'll leave them for the suggestions form :) Keep up the great work!

I was looking for a system that would allow me to administer leave and sickness without paperwork, link in with our Google apps system and mean staff could see their remaining holiday allowance. Appogee does this and more. It is a great system and the staff in our company are enjoying using it too regardless of their computer skills. Brilliant system and highly recommended. Their latest update make it unbeatable.
