Overview
Asana is the best way to manage your tasks and projects, and now you can use it to turn emails into tasks without leaving your Gmail inbox.

Email is great for communication but it wasn’t built for tracking to-dos or managing projects. When you turn your emails into tasks and track them in Asana with your teammates, everyone knows who is doing what, and by when.

With Asana for Gmail you can
-Turn an email into a task, assign it to yourself or a teammate, set a due date, add it to a project, and include attachments.
-Track the task in Asana with your teammates as part of project planning
-See any updates to synced tasks made within Asana without leaving email
-Search for and reference existing tasks in Asana without leaving email

Asana is the easiest way for teams to plan, manage, and track their work—so you know who’s doing what by when. It’s free & simple to get started, and powerful enough to run your entire business. Visit us at www.asana.com

Note for Admins: Google doesn't currently allow GSuite Admins to install Gmail Add-Ons. We will provide an update on this feature as soon as the support is added, and we will update the listing as soon as we're able to offer this add-on to our admin users as well.

It seems pretty useful if it works fine, but it doesn't show up the info that I saved unless I enter the app in other window.

I saw it once on the side than it disappeared. I just discovered that you have to be in one of your emails to access it.

I still have to test it out, but wanted to reply to all those that say it doesn't work or no icon is displayed. I had to install it for the domain, and then refresh this page and make the individual install. I guess the first install is simply to allow users of the domain to install it, and the second install is to enable it on one's own account. After I did that, I opened Gmail and had the icon on the left (from inside any open email).

Same as everyone else: It's not working at all. It's not on the right column, and there's nothing in the page's code to show it's even attempted to show up. It's been weeks -- is anyone going to bother to fix it?

I tried to find it but couldn't. It'd probably be great if you could actually access it.

Seen once on Gmail sidebar and disappeared. Even worked. I would love if it was where it should be. When are you planning to fix it?
