The e-mail extension is somehow getting slower and can't find the file I am looking for half the time so it is faster for me to just keep forwarding the e-mails to the mail drop than to use the extension. It does not log replies--at all. It gets very confused if you delete anything you're doing in the string and someone replies to that string. Whether or not it will save an attachment is completely random because it is not the same types of files it will recognize or ignore, it is not the same senders, it is not the time of day, it is not even the browser (because it will ignore things just the same in Firefox as it will in Chrome).  Since you guys introduced the extension, as well, not all of the attachments save from the maildrop feature, either, so I am constantly having to go back to verify files are being saved in the maildrop.  It would be better if the log saved the actual .eml file to the file instead of having to sort through whatever it is that is going on, though I'm not sure how your program would then translate it to the "searchable" communication.  It also always defaults to a random file--not necessarily in alphabetical order--and I have no way of knowing which file it is going to land on but only very rarely does it get that I have been logging the same file over the last two hours (before it decides, "Nah, you wanted to keep typing it so we're going to let you.") I should also mention I am not sure which version I have--the old or the new. The link to here tells me I have to uninstall from the Admin Console which is not possible because I can only turn it on or off from the admin console (G-Suite).

I appreciate what it does, but on update, can you get it to scroll to ALL emails in a chain for adding time entries (I had 37 in the chain, but could only see about 12) and can you get it to make time entries based on the date of the email, not the date it is being processed.

Update -- here is what worked for me, in case someone else uses GSuite for their business. I uninstalled the add-on in my GSuite account by clicking on my photo in the upper right corner, then on google account > security > apps with 3rd party access. I waited 24 hours, then this morning re-installed the add-on but as an individual installation instead of a domain-wide installation, and now it works again. This was working fine, but as of Monday this week, it has completely stopped working. When it used to work, it was great. But now I just get an error that "something went wrong." I spent about two hours over two days talking to Clio and they don't know what's wrong. First they tried to tell me it was a problem with GSuite, so I spoke to Google for an hour. No, it's a problem with the add-on. I hope they get it fixed soon.

The add-on has been working fine for me and I have not had any of the issues outlined by other users. One gripe though. The add-on does not appear in the Compose window as I guess the compose actions feature of the add-on has not been developed. This means that you have to send your email first, then find it in Sent mail and then you can file it in Clio. Adding the Compose Actions feature to it would make this a more useful add-on.

Good luck getting the interface to work. One day works next day does not. Disappears from the google bar. If you can get it to be consistent - good luck to you.

It's almost easier to use CloudHQ and save emails from GSuite and directly to Google Drive, DropBoxBusiness, etc. It arranges them by date, sender, etc. You don't get the reminder to bill for that email but it works, its fast and very reliable.

This wasn't available as an add-on in my g-mail. Is it a different program?

This is a huge downgrade from the Chrome add-on, which was lightweight and easy to use. It suffers from massive performance issues, the UI/UX is terrible, and it lacks features the add-on had. It is overall a frustrating experience that hurts productivity, rather than enhancing it. I'm severely disappointed.
