Crazy behavior: DATEADD(A4,"month",1). If A4 is 2017-03-01, the result is 2014-03-28, but the expected is 2017-04-01.

I think they've updated this add-on since the slew of negative comments below. I found it straightforward to use and it functioned correctly. Saved me a ton of time. Two thumbs up!

When it works, it is great. However, it seems to work intermittently. More documentation would be helpful.

not very suitable for large spreadsheets, even if you modify it to be applied in bi-dimensional arrays. If you use it too much, it sends too many requests and returns #Error and there is no fixing it easily. Needs a good revision.

Trying to use this and it's not working. I have a cell containing a date value in the format mm/dd/yyyy and I'm trying to add one month to it. The "source" date is 1st Dec 2013, when I execute =DATEADD(<cell>,"months",1), the result is 31st Dec 2013. I would expect 1st Jan 2014. What am I doing wrong? Thanks PS: in the end I just did it the long way: =DATE(YEAR(A4),MONTH(A4)+1,1)

I really wish this were a basic feature in Sheets. That said, this was pretty much seamless to add to a spreadsheet, and let me do non-hacky date math.

There needs to be a greater guide to beginners who are simply looking to be able to use the date function formulas in practical manners without the huge learning curve. This is for users who are already familiar with this aspect of creating a spreadsheet.
