Use your own rubric to keep track of reviews and revisions on each of your students documents. 

Teachers provide a customized rubric to their students.  Student use the rubric as they create their document.  Teachers or Peers review the document and give feedback using the rubric.  This feedback is recorded and saved so the student can revise the document. After revisions, teachers grades are recorded in a spreadsheet.

The Rubric Tool is used by teachers to create, save and share custom rubrics.  These rubrics have color coded categories with subcategories. 

The Review Tool supports teachers and peers as they highlight sections and tag them with categories and subcategories from the rubric. You can also type custom feedback messages or make an audio recording. Notes are recorded and a summary of the feedback is created at the end of the doc.

The Revise Tool allows the author to see and resolve the comments given to them by the reviewer. The author can also explain what was done to make the revision using either text or an audio recording. This explanation can be required or optional as determined by the reviewer. The review comments are erased from the doc as they are resolved and recorded in the summary at the bottom of the page.

When searching for a rubric tool for Google Doc, I saw a few people recommend this. But in reality, when I tried making the rubric in the program, it didn't make the type of rubric table that I would normally need. I also couldn't find much help on the website ( or help section of the app, to answer the questions I needed answered.

This tool can be kind of buggy, but here are the good points: + You can customize a rubric for whatever traits you're looking at + You can save multiple rubrics + It creates a summary of your feedback, which can be updated + There is an add-on for both reviewer and reviewee + Feedback is referenced as a bookmark that hyperlinks Problems I ran into: - Rubric names with special characters won't load, can't be deleted - Some edits cause the summary to fail - There isn't a user manual - You can delete comments but new comments do not reflect the deleted sequence - There doesn't seem to be a way to export comments

I cannot use my custom rubric. If this worked, it would be helpful. Otherwise, I will not use it.
