Old bug still there "Just wanted to inform about a bug in the "invite.ics" calendar event. The invitation sent via email is wrong, it is for date 01.01.1970. " Still occurring.

We don't use the maximum participants or email notification features. Event Manager does, however, meet our needs. It works flawlessly with Google Calendar allowing our students to choose a course date (I put the course date in the "Event Title" field) and then submit their registration details in Google forms with their chosen course date prefilled. There are other ways to accomplish the same task but I find this addon easier.

Great concept but does anyone know if there is a way to change the event name or description after the maximum number of people have registered? That way people don't have to fill out multiple forms if the event is already filled.

Hello , I would need that a user could register for many people so I added a field 'number of participants' but the tool does not take it into account. Do you know how to do that?

Go: Calendar---> Settings--->Calendar Tab---> Select Calendar that will be used by the Event Manager---> Make sure the time zone is set to Your event's Time Zone. Also make sure that you have your times in 24hr format. Otherwise you will end up having events early in the morning. It took me forever and multiple calendars to figure that out.

The scheduling to the calendar works. However it seems like the timing of the events is always wrong on my calendar even if in the spreadsheet it has the correct times. Also is there a way to make the addon run automatically when a new entry is inputted rather than having to manually do it?

This took FOREVER to figure out: if you notice the screenshot doesn't even have the timezone column, so you can delete the whole column without it affecting anything. The time is only set to military (UGH) so you have to make sure your calendar is set to whichever timezone you're in first and then make sure all is military time. Hope this helps! Hoping some newer/better version comes along.

I am having this problem too. I think it is a time zone issue, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Does anyone know how to use the import option? In the tutorial Slide 4 it shows a menu option for 'Import Events in Calendar' - On my sheet I do not have this option.

As suggested below - highlight the row and then click on Import Events to Calendar.....where do i find the button to click Import Events to Calendar..... I have looked on the Google Sheet, Calendar and Form to try and find it...

Make sure to highlight the entire row/rows you want imported into your calendar and then click on 'Import Events in Calendar' . This is not the greatest UI but it works minus a range of querks..

I haven't tried this on this add on/form yet, but I need to add more fields to the form (department, unit, student/faculty, etc. I tried this on another form with an add-on script & it failed to work when I added more fields to the form. Can I add more fields to the form and still have it work properly? Can I put the session dates/times in the form instead of having users register from the calendar (or can I do calendar links to each individual session in an email)?

Hi Randy, you shoul definitely give this a try. You can add more questions to the form but I wouldn't mess with the order of the questions or the ones already made. Try the addon, you'll see that inputing the date and time in the form is not really the way to use this. Typical usage scenario is: Make multiple events, share the link to the people you want to attend and let them register by picking the event that fits for them. If you want to manage invitations to single events, this addon works but it's not what it's made for. I hope this helps.

Hi Claire, When in your Google Calendar, there should be a small box next to your calendar's name (this box only appear when you over your mouse over it) When you click on said box, a menu should appear. You can then click on "calendar settings". In the Calendar settings, the 4th option from the bottom is "calendar URL address", you can click on the blue "HTML" button to find your calendar address. I hope this helps.
