Works pretty well for my one person business. A little buggy and very slow. However, I was able to set it up so that tax time is a breeze and my clients like the expense reports. The integration with xero was overly complicated and so I gave up on that. I may look for something else at the end of the year.

Our company used Expensify for about 3 years and it quickly became the bane of our existence. The software just does not work. It breaks consistently and has caused us hours and hours of extra time trying to get it fixed. Their support is laughable. You cannot call them, only email. and the first email you get is worthless and all they say each time is, "Sorry for your inconvenience. Try doing A, B or C". (Which we have already done so zero help). So then you get into an email back and forth for days until they finally tell you there is nothing they can do. IF their software worked it would have been ok. IF they had phone support where you could talk in person (like Quickbooks and most of our other software partners) it would have been mega tons better. Honestly, the day we announced we were leaving Expensify....everyone in the company was thrilled!

It freezes every time I try to connect. My employee submitted an expense report, and nothing seems to have happened. I'm really trying to use it, I contacted them about their broken connection to Quickbooks online (errors out whenever I try to set it up). The response I got was "Ya we know." So skip this one. At one point it seems to have been great. Now it's just frustrating.

The google apps integration is seriously broken. Repeated login circles, wingman just does not work. Reports disappear. Absolutely useless support. No phone line, and never respond to emails. Functionality would be awesome if it worked, but I've wasted countless hours and hours trying to get past the broken bits. Recommend you look elsewhere.

Android app is extremely slow and crashes frequently Tax doesn't work - which is the primary reason we need expense reporting Overly complicated to set up and use, so nobody will actually use it We had plans to use it with a large team but finally gave up after extensive testing We chose Shoeboxed, which does everything expensify does and more, with a far simpler UI and better Android app.

We are a small company and growing, expensify is easier to use than many 'bolt-on' expense reporting systems I have used from larger corporations.

Great app, makes expense reporting simple and quick. Well done on the currency conversion. A minor improvement suggestion... I was surprised I couldn't modify a report (even just rename) once it was submitted. True, it might have already been delivered to the approver's inbox, where they will be reviewing the report. But hey, why can't the app send a follow-up email notification if it detects a change in the submitted report? Imagine a user who discovered an error right after hitting the submit button... It might make sense to support this scenario, i.e. editing of submitted and not yet approved reports.

It's exactly what I was looking for, it's the first time I write a review for an app, but I was amazed how easy and efficient it is. It would be nice just if its possible to generate reports based on date, category, merchant. Thank you, great job
