I couldn't find a single metric that didn't require a premium subscription. And I'm talking about basic stuff, too, nothing unusual or complicated. You want to import revenue? Nope. How about net income? Nope. Ok, how about something super easy like a stock's price change over the last year? Nope, not without paying $39/month, or $87/quarter, or $300/year. Definitely disappointing.

Hi Gregory - we now provide free access to over a hundred metrics. You can checkout the full list below. All Premium metrics are clearly marked as such. Metric List: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MfTYTr5ONUg0H49Y09okUey7C9vBU0cPxaFrqbG98Hk

Says it's free, but only a handful of stocks have data available that you don't get from the GOOGLEFINANCE function. If you want the additional data, its *at least* $25/month. I understand that the developer wants to be compensated for their time, but it shouldn't be marked "free" if you have to pay a subscription to get anything above what Google already gives you. This was a total waste of my time.

As Dimu Designs suggested below, marking it as Free is not in our control. All Chrome webstore apps are listed as such. That said, we now provide free access to over a hundred metrics like last trade price (asset_price_latest), trailing P/E (pe_ltm), etc. All Premium metrics are clearly marked as such. That's not really the fault of the developer. Chrome webstore apps are always listed as "free". If a developer wants to offer a premium service there was no option to get rid of the "free" button. With GSuite Marketplace replacing Chrome Webstore for addons that should no longer be an issue.

In general, it is not very useful without a premium subscription. Common metrics such as trailing P/E (pe_ltm), P/E growth (peg_ltm) and price over moving average (stock_price_pct_avg_50d) should be available for all stocks and ETFs without a premium subscription. Also, performance needs to be improved. FNBX() functions are significantly slower than equivalent GoogleFinance() functions.
