Overview
Select multiple Forms from your Drive and merge them into the current Form with 1 click!

Did you ever want to just reuse a few questions from a Form in your Drive? Now you can, just pick the Form in the popup window and it will populate with the questions from that Form. It even will show you which questions were required in the original form and make them required in your new one! Select the ones you want to insert and FormRecycler will automagically insert them at the end of the Form!

Now also supports Team Drives and will recycle quiz questions preserving the point values. It will not recycle embedded images, video questions or section headers right now.

Create 30 questions per week for free and purchase Unlimited questions within the Add-on.

Not a fan. Used it a long time ago and it was clunky. Tried it again and cannot get past the monetization window. I know they need to make $$, but if you offer a free version so people can decide whether they should purchase the product, then things should work. I would give it one-star, but am giving them the benefit of the doubt that I have multiple Google Accounts and have them open under the Google Account Manager...but still. It should work and not get hung up.

The free version lets you recycle a total of 30 questions per week. If your Forms contain more than that, then it requires a license.

Completely unnecessary. The Forms native import question function works better than this Add-on.

There is an option to import questions directly on Google forms. No need for this plug-in at all. It limits you to 50 questions unless you pay for it.

I would like it better if picture with question was recycled along with question. Having to re-insert the picture to the question in the copied form takes additional time.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. I am working on some ways to get the embedded images recycled. It is a bit more difficult as Google doesn't provide a way for me to do this automatically :)

I enjoy this add on very much! Often in classes we use Google Forms to give each other feedback on our projects, you can only respond to a form once though. So instead of remaking the exact same form for a new project you can use this application to copy over the form while the new form can be responded to again. Very useful!

Hi, this is a great app! However, even if it now supports Team Drives, my institution does not have one, and things are so bureaucratic that I would like to suggest a feature addition. I am working with a team of two other colleagues, and we'd like to recycle questions from forms that I have created for a former course. The problem is, even if my colleagues are able to work and edit forms on a shared Google Drive folder, it seems that FormRecycler will only allow one to recycle questions from forms that have been **created by the current user**. It would be good if users could recycle questions from forms created by other users and to which edit privileges have been granted, since they appear in the list of available forms for question recycling. Just to make it clear: User A creates a form in a folder and shares it with users B and C, giving them full access for editing and viewing. However, if user B tries recycling questions from user A's shared form on a brand new form of his own, the script displays an error. It would be good to enable user B/C to create a form with questions recycled from user A's, since he shared the form with them. Best regards, Marcos

I appreciate the feedback and I will look into that feature to see what we can do.

It picks up all data (questions as well as sections and titles) but it will NOT recycle them correctly. It just stops recycling after bringing in the first chosen section or title. If one is to choose ONLY questions, they are recycled as a bulk section in the end of the form. :(
