I tested this for simple calculations and seems to work but it's slow AF. Not the fault of the developer though..

I've been spending 5 minutes a few times a day manually replicating Excel "goal seek" on my google spreadsheet. I added this app to my Google experience and it works the same as goal seek. A little slower, but you can watch it calculating. It gets the job done.

I installed this about a year and a half ago and it didn't work. I just installed it again (June 1, 2018) and it now works. It's slow as mud, but it works this time around. And since Google refuses to build in a regula falsi tool, this is at least a viable alternative.

It doesnt seem to find the target through a very rational process. It always starts from a very negative number even when the solution is already in the box. I suggest to use the current value as a starting point for a newton or Runge-Kutta method. Even a newton order 1 method should be more efficient. I also suggest to add a way to launch a series of preset Goal Seek through a script. I have store them with names but launching them manually is quite old fashion. Cheers

Is there a way to save the goals in order to run at again at a later time, or create a macro button embedded in the sheet? If I close the goal seek panel or the tab, I would have to re-open and start over if I need to run it again. Am i missing something?
