I'll update my review as long as I get an answer here. This is promising, but completely dissapointing at the beginning. - You give no option to contact you or anywhere for help. Or a forum, or any manual. Nothing at all. Just an extremely simple video with no explanations. - I had a table with Euro quantities (with the euro symbol in there). Summing up was failing (returns an error). Then I put the euro symbol before the number. Suming gives an error. I remove the euro symbol, just numbers! Adding returns a broken image and no text at all. Adding two simple numbers, returns the same broken image. Impossible to use. I'll update the review as long as this is fixed or I get an answer. Getting bad rating here is what you get for not spending a little more time on teaching your users how to use this.

I like it, but I would LOVE it if it updated as edits are made. For example, I am a florist creating proposals for clients and quantities and price points change often. I wish I could just bump up a quantity here and there and all other repercussion data addition follows into final totals and all without having to trace all the math myself and reselect columns etc. Since it doesn't update numbers automatically, it basically becomes not that great as I need to tweak numbers pretty often. If I constantly have to check over my math formulas to see if they are current, what's the point- I should just do it by hand the whole time. I've been looking for this kind of basic math formula add-on within google docs for quicker proposal making outside of an overly complex excel sheet with lack of options for other needed elements, so I am really hoping the developers can add this much needed flexibility feature. Please! Fingers crossed :) I'll even bump up those stars to a 5 for ya if ya do.

It's nice. I wish I could figure out how to make the total change when I add new data. Thank you. JK

Calculations are not updated when table cells are modified. The idea is very useful.

It will not add or subtract dollars and cents. It does not allow to make a rule for cells, like SUM of A1 to A9. For my purpose, it does not work.

Does pretty much exactly what it says it'll do. Like others have mentioned, it'd be nice to have programmable table cells to do operations on the fly, or some flexibility to use symbols (e.g. $5 or 1,200), but it is still a very nice tool as is.

Thanks Vincent. We are pushing a new release in a few days. It works with currency symbols of several countries (we will provide list) and a bonus regular calculator so you can stay within Google Docs and do all your simple math. We will definitely look into simple formulas - in future versions

Very nice, thanks very much indeed. It would be nice if it could ignore things like a leading currency symbol, e.g. '£' , rather than ignoring fields like "£32". thanks again.

Does exactly what I need it to do; sum up rows for my invoices. But what I would really love is if the app recognises dollar symbol as valid and includes the dollar symbol in the destination cell.
