Its a great deal for 9.99 a month, as I usually send and receive a few faxes per month. Makes things really simple. Also includes a e-signature suite with HelloSign, so I can download, sign, upload and fax it out. The only improvement I could think of would be new, dedicated mobile apps that are as useful as the website. Right now,the mobile apps do not even come close. Thats the only thing preventing me from giving a 5th star.

I don't send a lot of faxes, this excellent! I received free faxes as promised and have some left over! I definitely recommend it! Especially if you're on a budget!

Note the following... While Chrome Web Store indicates that you get 50 free faxes for registering -- Once you do what you will end up with is 24 free faxes that expire in 1 month

The app is called, "HelloFax: 50 Free Fax Pages," but it wants to change me from the beginning and this app has no help.

This app and their website are awful. I get to a page to sign in from the app. I'm asked to sign in and choose google credentials as my option. It routes back to the sign-in page. I think "maybe I need to configure an account first" which is silly, but lots of websites do this. I click "Sign up" and I'm signed in with google. I try to use a document in drive via the link and am told I need to install the app that I used to get there in the first place. Signing up on the website (I wanted to pay them!) gives me no ability to choose an area code for a number to receive faxes. I instead get the little "loading" circle until it's done loading, then get nothing. I tried the free version and am told to choose a fax number, but see no options. This is terrible. Uninstalling and I'll go with another service.

Dang thing wanted full access to my files on my laptop and cloud! No way Jose! There is no need for that. Bad enough that you have to protect yourself from hackers now they want permission to hack? Stupid.....

Quite nice and easy to guess where to go to find tools and features. Only complaint is the lack of inbound faxing number as part of the free plan, but as you get that number with even the lowest costing plan, it's pretty good.

This app isn't really an app at all. Like so many 'apps' here on the Chrome Store, this is just a link to their website. Also, this ISN'T A FREE SERVICE as advertised here. The FREE trial only lets you send 5 faxes. Come on Google, you really need to get some kind of realistic and accurate system for marking apps!! Bad form!!

If you want to receive free faxes (up to 10 pages a month) with a phone number that is randomly given to you, then you go with eFax Free. That's the only one after all these years that still offers a free fax number to receive. Otherwise, services like HelloFax have to charge for receiving faxes due to the cost of owning a telephone number. HelloFax is great for sending faxes. The best format for fax is black & white either a Word doc, Google doc, or PDF. Anything that is color does not translate well to a fax number as they have to be converted to black & white. Bottom line, stick to B&W if you want a reliable delivery. I once sent a blown up picture of driver's license to a rental agency. They received the color page as a giant BLACK print out.
