Plotting your own data onto a map is in great demand for businesses and individuals. Either to show each location details in an Infowindow or for filtering over the map based on several conditions, but also to find locations within a distance to a place and ultimately to calculate the optimized directions for your next travel around.

The Mapping Sheets™ add-on provides an easy way to process your data directly from Google Sheets™ onto a Google Map™

First BUILD: the Mapping Sheets™ add-on will process your data from Google Sheets™ and create a .json file in your Google Drive™, ready for mapping.
Then VIEW: the Mapping web app will gather that .json file and plot your data directly onto a Google Map™.

I struggled to find a way to show over 7000 points (bell towers) across the world, and at the same time allow individuals to tie their Google Sheets in with the map, with different symbols according to the number of bells, plus different signs inside the map symbols according to people's individual records. All attempts at DIY maps took ages to load, if at all! Then fortunately I found Mapping Sheets - and the originator of the add-on was pleased to work with me to show me exactly what I needed. The whole map now loads in a few seconds, and I have some 50 individual sets of personalised records. Any errors on the inputs flag up within a few hours and I am notified and can correct them. If I need any other help it is available via email very quickly. An excellent add-on which I have now used for several years and which I am pleased to recommend wholeheartedly.

Our cycling club offers members the opportunity to log miles ridden throughout the year, then we use Mapping Sheets to show their virtual location on a predetermined virtual route. It is fun to see how riders' locations progress throughout the year. Mapping Sheets has worked very well in facilitating this process. Their support team has been exceptional with quick responses when needed. Thanks Mapping Sheets for a great app!

This has been a huge benefit to my business. It allows a great visual of where all of our customers are located, and has saved me a lot of money in scheduling. The one time I had an issue their support team helped me get it resolved in less than 20 minutes. Been using this for several years now.

Fabulous and pretty straight forward. I had test pins on a map within 15 minutes and semi-complicated filters in place within 45. I can't wait to dive into using this tool for disaster response operations!

Excellent way to show geographical data quickly and easily. 'Real people' behind it as well who have a genuine interest in your feedback. Great to see! We needed a way to quickly see data from our multiple stores around the UK and within 30 minutes we had what we needed and it will become part of our daily operations. Thank-you.
