This app does not work. I am trying to merge a spreadsheet with a document and it keeps telling me "Found different document type. Please select only one of google documents and google spreadsheets". If it can only merge docs with docs and spreadsheets with spreadsheets then this addon needs to change it's description because you can't merge to different file types.

Does the job, but if you have any complex formatting, photos or headers, it will not transfer over correctly.

Clients returned two copies of a file with separate notes. I wanted to combine the documents to address all the notes in one revision. The files merged, but all the notes are lost, defeating the purpose of the app. Also: for those having trouble merging files, make sure they are Google Docs and not DOCX. Tripped me up for a bit and made the final lack of results even more frustrating.

It actually does work. I've used it before to merge many Google Docs at once. To turn off adblocker, you click the little shield in the address bar and turn off. That said, I'm suddenly disappointed to learn it doesn't preserve headers. Back to the drawing board...
