Overview
Looking for a way to make your Google Docs beautiful? The MindMeister add-on for Google Docs has you covered!

With the click of a button, you can turn any bullet-point list into a visual mind map, which is then inserted directly into your Google doc. The mind map will include all information covered within the list, with the first point becoming the root topic of the mind map and the rest of the first-level bullet points becoming topics, branching off from the centre. Any second-level points are then turned into sub-topics, branching off from their respective parent topics, and so on.

This integration is a simple way to quickly visualize lists and add a graphical overview to your documents and data. What’s more, it’s totally free to get started!

Won't work with larger Bullet point sheets and crashs.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. WASTE OF TIME. Only used up to five lines although I selected more from my list. There are phone apps which are better.

Absolutely unusable. Does not really integrate with google docs. After finally getting it to work, the results were a grainy looking chart that could have been made easier and far better in any presentation software. You cannot edit it after it is made.

Yes, it does create a mind map but there is no way to do anything with the mind map. Cannot move any of the objects around and some of the bubbles are blocked. Good idea, very poor implementation.

Poor execution of the mind map concept. Impossible to edit, and oft poorly generated, image hamfisted into the document. Useless for any sense of organization, and doubly useless for larger lists because the image is too large to fit into a single page and what little you can see is illegible to boot.

This creates just an image that is pasted into the doc, which can be useful for printing the doc or just the map for ease of reading. While the map looks good, it only works for smaller bits of information. Getting larger than a sentence with each bullet makes the map to small to read or use. For some reason I was hoping it would act like an interactive element. But that was me jumping to conclusions.

This is so clever! I have spent hours using text boxes and drawing tools to create mind maps for students. I cannot believe simply highlighting a bulleted list will get such visually appealing results. This will save me so much time and I will be more likely to present information to students this way now.

I really like this tool! I can see using it with students to create mind maps out of what they have written. I Not being able to edit the mind map may potentially be a problem if you are creating an analysis of a problem and need to refine it, but in the classroom I can see how this can help student identify main ideas and subtopics (or the lack of).
