"If you are looking to create a mind-map online, MindMup is the app I would recommend the most. MindMup is the sort of app everyone dreams of finding online. It’s open-source, free and integrated with all the best tools. It’s also designed by people who use the app, so it’s efficient and effective. And unlike so much free software, it looks great too." - MakeUseOf (http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/try-mindmup-mind-mapping-via-google-drive/)

just what i was looking for. i tried all of the other mind mapping programs available for the cbook and they all charged subscriptions for basic service! gtfo. they were also very clunky and slow. this program is light and fast. no nonsense. and it integrates seamlessly with gdrive. highly recommended!

version one was much better In this version, writing notes on a node is very primitive. You need to save notes in an attachment file, if you want more flexibility

Version 1 was much better. It was open source and very stable. Version 2 is closed source, and I just lost an entire days worth of notes due to it over writing the google drive file with a blank map. I'm looking for alternatives. Edit: reading other reviews there is obviously a problem with the app. DO NOT USE IT TILL IT'S FIXED.
