Did Not allow me to actually change the page size. Boxes could not be edited. Tried the suggestions here but no joy.

It suddenly added headers and footers, which totally messes up the smaller sized paper I tried to print on. It also added a half inch to the top margin, and so the text printed to the very bottom of the page, leaving no margin at all. I can't trust it so will try another one, which only has 3 stars, but who knows...

It is better than original page size input, but I still miss some templates.

Great add-on, I use it all the time and love it, but it's not been working for me lately. I've been trying to change the vertical size to 120 as I usually do but after I try and apply the change the popup just goes blank and the size doesn't change. Like IAmFaceless said, it works when you make the document publicly editable, but I don't recall ever having to do this before until recently. It's a fine workaround for the time being but I'd really like to not have to make my documents public just for the add-on to work. I've also been having issues trying to resize other people's documents which I have permission to edit, which used to work for me until recent. I would really appreciate it if these issues could be all worked out, this is by far my favorite Docs add-on.

I just found out what's been causing this. The problem was that you're always logged into your google account, probably via cookies or when using google chrome. This is like in the background on whatever site you view. This isn't always the same as the one you use to log in to your google docs file. I couldn't use my page size add-on because it apparently uses the browser-wide account, which at the time was a different one from the account I created the document with. You probably weren't able to edit other people's documents as they shared it with one of your accounts while another one was logged in in the background, even though within that one tab you were logged in with the right account. This also explains why the "can-edit" option makes it work, as then every account, Including the browser background one has the rights to edit.

Yes, Morning is correct! To use this add-on, you first have to click on the blue "Share" button on the upper-right corner of the Google document, and then change the permission of the document to "can edit". This allows the add-on to make edits to your document, ergo change the size of the page.

Hi, everyone! I downloaded this add-on, and I was having the same problems as you! I couldn't input dimensions into the text box. At a certain point, I gave up on using the add-on, but then suddenly I went to try it again it was working! Now, I don't know what I did to make it work, but I can list down everything significant that took place between the add-on not working and it suddenly working. At one point I reset my laptop. At another point I refreshed the page. While I was working, I had the idea to change the permission on the doc to -can edit, to see if that would work. Soon after, I tried it and it worked. But then I returned the permissions to -view only, and it still worked, so I'm not sure if that's a viable solution. I hope I helped at all, I'm just super happy it started working. It's perfect!

Can't seem to make the page landscape. I was hoping to type on what appeard to be a digital index card until I could print it. when I do page setup in the actual doc program it resets the page size to 8X11 after resetting the size I want to use using page sizer the document reverts back to portrait. will be deleting unfortunatly.
