Seems promising as a hobby script, but not for popular consumption yet. I tested the free version and found: a clunky interface that provides no feedback (is something magic about to happen or is it just broken?); suspicious permissions (why is the external service required?). I have a (parent) folder, with several folders with images inside it. On first try I was able to add four images from one folder but when I tried to add some from a different folder it just showed the spinner. I uninstalled and reinstalled then pointed to the parent folder (you can't search for it, because the app shows the contents, you have to "browse" with the UI) and it worked.

I paid for the premium version but it will not upload more than 101 photos (I have 899). The loader just spins and spins until it gives up and shows this error "A Google Error has occurred: ScriptError: Exceeded maximum execution time". I have tried in incognito mode. I have tried resetting permissions. I have logged off and on. After hours of messing with it, I never got more than 101 photos. Such a disappointment.

I really like this except the order of the slides imports in reverse order - if you only have a few slides, you can drag and drop them into the correct order, but if you have 100 or so, it's super cumbersome!!!!

This is great and gives Slides the same functionality that PowerPoint has to make 1-photo per slide presentation from a set of photos. Saves me so much time. As far as the functionality, its 4 stars. Some photos albums show up as "unknown" on the drop down, luckily not the album I needed. I really don't like the expansive permissions like others have said here. It's major. So, 2 stars until that is fixed. I did pay the $2.50.

Google requires those permissions. They review every add-on and question whether the permission is overreaching. If permissions are too much Google will not approve.

Buggy (throws error attempting to select a Google Drive folder). Demands expansive permissions and access to all Google Drive files and Google contacts, far beyond the scope of what is reasonable for the task it purports to perform (but does not in fact perform). Wants paymet (only imports 50 photos for free, which honestly doesn't take that long to do by normal means). It's trash, folks.

Extension no longer works. When I go to select drive folder I get an error "Unknown Origin". I tried looking into your site page for a proper avenue to get support but I could not find one. 5 star rating when it was working... please send help.
