1. I installed the add-on but I can't find it. How do I check if it's installed?
Try refreshing your browser and opening an email thread. Then, select the QuickBooks logo (it’s all the way on the right side of your screen) and either sign up or connect to your QuickBooks account. 
2. Why is the install button greyed out?
Gmail add-ons aren’t available for G Suite admins yet. Google is actively working on it.

Other details to keep in mind
1. To use QuickBooks Invoicing for Gmail, you need to create a free Intuit user ID or sign in with your existing user ID for QuickBooks Online, TurboTax, Mint, or any other Intuit product. 
2. Does not work with QuickBooks Self-Employed or QuickBooks Desktop.
3. There are no monthly charges for QuickBooks Invoicing for Gmail.
4. All online payments are processed through a payments account (powered by Stripe or QuickBooks). There are no monthly charges for the payments account, but a per transaction fee may be required for online payments.
Quick Invoicing from within Gmail! It is very easy to set up an invoice to a customer directly from my gmail account. If I need to edit the invoice after the fact, then I can go to QuickBooks and make changes. My customer will see the changes reflected the next time they open the invoice. I love knowing when my customer has looked at their invoice.

It is an amazing solution for all of us that are on the run. To be able to invoice from one place and have all the information sync is a great time saver

Is there a way to add additional fields to the invoice? Can new customers be created with all contact information such as phone and address? Will this make the emailed invoice come from google or quickbooks? Most of my emailed invoices from quickbooks end up on my customers spam or junk folder. Hoping this app the first step in fixing that spam issue.

Hi Liam, invoices sent from our add-on will be sent from your email address so they shouldn't go to your customer's spam folder. We'll look into the phone and address - thanks for letting us know.

Only 3 starrs today, just installed-but already wondering about it... Info on install page says : "Other details to keep in mind 1. To use QuickBooks Invoicing for Gmail, you need to create a free Intuit user ID or sign in with your existing user ID for QuickBooks Online, TurboTax, Mint, or any other Intuit product." So, now I've installed it, however nothing is asking me to create the FREE INTUIT USER ID?? & I do not already have any product like those listed...??

Hi Dina, after installing the add-on you need to finish setting up by signing up for an account. You can do this by opening an existing email, clicking on the QuickBooks logo on the far right, and clicking on "Sign Up". Reach out at if you're still having issues. Thanks!

The idea is good but the main downfall is that you cannot create a brand new email and have the logo appear on the right, it has to be an existing email exchange in order for the QB logo to appear and enter the invoice details. Seems counter intuitive. Plus, no way to refund.

Hi Penney Electric! That's correct, all Gmail add-ons appear within an existing email exchange. That's how Google built the add-ons. Also, you can do refunds - steps are listed in our FAQ: Thanks!
