Overview
On a single Google Slides™ arranges student names into a Seating Chart. Start with a Google Doc™ with your roster of student names. Use the Add-on menu to choose Seating Chart Slides by Schoolytics and show the sidebar. Click the "Create Google Slides." If pop-ups are enabled the Slides will open in a new tab. (Otherwise, check your Google Drive for the Google Slides.) Paste a link to an already existing Google Slides™ in the box in the sidebar to add your seating chart. An individual textbox on a Slide will be created per student name on the roster in the Google Doc™.  Use Seating Chart Slides by Schoolytics to send paragraphs of text, such as vocabulary lists, to a Google Slides.

VOCABULARY! This makes it so much easier to make labels for a Google Slides for students to be able to drag around the vocab words and do matching. Love this!

Another AWESOME add-on by the amazing Alice Keeler! The teachers at our school always have to have an updated seating chart (for contact tracing), so this is will be huge time saver for them. I love that the randomizing function can also be used for creating random groups. So easy to use and practical!

Wow this is so easy. I had my roster of students and selected the randomize option. This opened a new Google Slides (at first it did not, I did not have it turned on to allow this so it was in Google Drive) with all my students on it! Easy to move some students around. This was helpful.
