I'd like to be able to save my Merge selections in a template: whenever I select this template, merge the lines with a flag in a flag column from Smartsheet X to doc Y. OR merge all rows from a report and only just from the columns that I have saved in my Merge Template. In other words, I don't want to have to pick from the huge list of rows in a Smartsheet each and every row to merge into my google doc every time I want to do the merge. I would also like to be able to do this from multiple sheets at the same time (which makes the merge from report option more attractive). An example of this would be: send out invoices that have a "not paid" status associated with it. A month later, please do the same task which will mean new invoices generated along with some that were also generated last month, because they weren't paid.

Try creating a new sheet in Smartsheet that links to the specific rows you want from your original sheet (as well as any others you want to link from). Save this new sheet as your template for use in your merges going forward. Then, each month, before running the merge, you can apply a filter on the 'not paid' column and save.

Would really like to be able to save my export choices so I don't have to reenter them every time. Otherwise works well. Don't get why others are knocking it for not being able to use with Google Sheets - from what I can tell it's designed to work with Smartsheet data, and says so.

This saved me a lot of time. I was able to quickly create many documents from a Template with just a few clicks. I am impressed that it will automatically name my files if I put a merge field in the title.

Great add on! Still needs a little work and some more features, but gives a nice way to create files/reports with the smartsheet data.
