Does not export correctly to Google Drive. When I export a document to Google Drive, then try to open that document, I get an error message "Oh Noes! No preview available."

This editor/chrome plugin is awesome! Took me less than 30 seconds to know I was going to love it! Everything else out there that I've tried seems glitchy and doesn't work half the time. That includes plugins for Sublime Text 3. If you need to edit Markdown files, hurry up and smash that "Add to Chrome" button. You know you want to! :)

A perfect tool for writing just anything. Markdown support and offline access allow to use it everywhere, and online sync to Google Drive ensures that the content is available across all devices. My use is to write math lectures, as KaTeX support is also there, along with diagrams and much more. It would be good though to have a way to upload pictures to Google Drive directly from the application to make them accessible in the editor.

This is easily the best blogging / content creation tool I've ever used. It's a full-featured Markdown editor with a customizable interface and WYSIWYG buttons that works offline in your Chrome browser. You can export as PDF and HTML, share as links that can be viewed in a nice format, sync to Google Drive and Dropbox, or publish on Blogspot, Tumblr, and WordPress. Holy cow!

Thanks, StackEdit, for deleting numerous files of mine. One day I went to open StackEdit only to find the original "Welcome to StackEdit" with everything I had previously worked on GONE. Obviously it's my bad for not backing up my writing, but I thought it would be safe with this app - based on reviews and how well it had worked for me up to this point. Totally heartbreaking experience. Hope to find something more promising.

I'm very sorry to say that this application is way to slow. I've got an incredibly powerful pc and fast internet connection and I can't see the cursor moving at real-time while I type. Today the editor doesn't even finish loading within a few minutes. I'm moving to another editor.

Brilliant idea and beautiful execution, but I have trouble opening files directly from GDrive. And even when opening them from StackEdit its convoluted. All I really want is a simple notepad for GDrive without all the heavy javascript of a GDoc. StackEdit is great if you want heavy duty markdown editing, but it's overkill for a simple notepad/text editor.

Honestly one of the best markdown editors I've ever used. Super nice interface, and a really rich "hinting" system (for instance, it shows **bolded** items as bold within the markdown editing area). Biggest issue for me is the fact that these files are saved without the .md/.markdown file extension. --- EDIT: So, this is as simple as adding a .md to the title of your document. --- This seems to make it impossible to automatically open those files in StackEdit without explicitly clicking "Open With>StackEdit". Instead, Docs tries to open them, which generates a (worthless) .gdoc file. --- EDIT: This is just a problem with Drive in general. To make this work, you need to to into Google Drive settings, click "Manage Apps" and click the checkbox for "make default" ---

Thank you StackEdit crew!! Yes this is a great editor, packed with features. The integration with google drive is good, especially the way you allow us to restrict access (much appreciated!!).. What would be amazing is => if we could edit in the wysiwyg mode, ie not even see the markdown code => add our own style sheets somehow for the markdown view => use this on mobile as well (guess i'll join the community and find a roadmap)
