Do you use the "Stoplight Paragraph" technique in writing lessons? This tool is meant to assist teachers in using the Stoplight method in Google Docs. 

Sidebar menu buttons cue students to highlight text when they've found a Main Idea (green), Key Detail (yellow), or Example (red) in the text. Using this tool, student color choices will be automatic and consistent.

This is a very simple tool, but easy to use for primary students. I also like that it uses the same colors as when we write informational or opinion text and students can use this add-on as a way to check if they have all the parts of their writing. Thank you for the tool.
