Super Quiz adds brilliant functionality to a quiz made with Google Forms. By completing the quiz once with an answer key, all future submissions are automatically graded correct or incorrect. What’s more - you can get a break down of class understanding and a list of incorrect students for each question - perfect for intervention!

By filling out a few cells of information, you can also generate personalised differentiated written feedback emailed to students as soon as they submit a response. No need to monitor and ‘re-grade’ - just set-up and go!

You can split your quiz in up to 4 different topics, and provide specific feedback on each. If you don’t want to email students, you can choose to print feedback on a 2x2 array, too.

I tested this out yesterday, I want to share it with my faculty but I think I did something wrong. I feel like I followed all the directions correctly, but it isn't sending the emails. It sent one to me when I tried it, but not to my other guinea pigs, or to me when I had a second go. Any pointers? I'd love to sort this out and share, it looks brilliant :) UPDATE: I contacted the creator of this add-on, he was able to fix my problem within 24 hours of me contacting him. The problem was me not really following directions. The add-on ìs great, I can't wait to share it with my staff. Thank you!

This has the potential to be great, but had two major issues: 1) It stopped grading the last 10 students in each class (gave them all 0s when the students had mostly correct answers. It also gave no grades for questions 42-62 of my test (that part of my "right or wrong" tab was completely blank, even though it was there in my 'Form Responses 1'. I checked all the formatting, but everything was correct. I hope that they change this, as I'd love to use this resource at full function (and upgrade my rating).

I love it! It provides so much information. The only glitch I've had was that it stops working after 200 entries. Does anyone know how to extend the sheet to 600+? My team was using it to compare the Pre-test and Post-test and it stopped working after 200 entries. I'm sharing this with the rest of the staff because it provided so much data so quickly.

I am trying to edit the format of the report generated and the help site says that the template is saved as "document template" and is stored in a folder under the name given in the appropriate tab. I can find neither the folder or the template. What am I doing wrong?

I am also having the same challenge. I was able update template doc formatting once before and now running a new instance, I cannot find the 'document template.' I copied my previous form, so maybe that is an issue but I cannot locate this file in my drive...I've been in my trash deleting as well! Would love some help on this.

I want to love this so much! But so far, I've only had glitches. :( I made a formative assessment that then led students to another activity based on the feedback... but the feedback emails only sent to half of my students. The other half were left wondering, so I had to go into the "Topic Score Breakdown" tab for half of the students, then tell them their feedback orally. Eventually I made a sheet I had hard copies of that went with each type of feedback. In my last two classes students took the quiz, came up to me, I told them what they missed, then they took the sheet of feedback. Ultimately, I should have just done it paper and pencil because of the hassle and headache. :( I want to use it again because the idea of this is phenomenal! It just didn't work in practice yet. Here's hoping, because this is a GREAT idea for formative assessment!

Lots of people already use this very successfully. Don't be disheartened because you didn't quite have it down first time. We wouldn't want our students to do that, would we? Give it another go and see how you get on :)

Great addition for teachers. Just hoping for more features. However, I know Mr. Trussell is doing this on his own free time, so no rush :)

Awesome! Is there a way to provide feedback on questions that students answer correctly? Also, is there a way to change the email so instead of it saying the student email, it says the student name? Thanks so much for creating this- it's truly amazing. Also will there be a way to add more than 4 topics?

I love this add-on! It allows my students to auto-evaluate their work and quickly learn from their mistakes on their own time. Feedback is sent upon completion of the form, so I don't need to spend much time managing the spreadsheet.

From what I have figured out so far this seems like a fantastic add-on! Excited to try it out with my classes.
