Overview
Table Styles add-on lets you quickly apply a professional and uniform look to your tables in Google Sheets.

You can select your data and use one of predefined styles that come with the add-on. The templates are very flexible in use as they let you apply format only of those table elements that you check off.

If your company uses custom colors, select an existing table and add its style to your collection. You can also create your formatting template from scratch and use it in any spreadsheet: add borders, change font and background color in any table part like header or first row stripe.

Besides 24 pre-supplied styles, the current version keeps three of the most recent styles you create active. At the same time the add-on gives you the possibility to edit or delete all your custom templates to keep them up-to-date.

Version 1.1:
We added more default styles, try them out!

Version 1.5:
See bold, italics, and alignment formatting of your styles in the preview.

Wow, I was thrown but the warn every time I saved a custom style because I didn't understand. There was nothing I did wrong, it's only there for a warning the certain style elements cannot be saved. You can save styles and use them for ANY old or new sheets!

Works as expected, which is great, but not so fast)) I would like to check, is it secure to my data on a spreadsheet? Can this add on share my private data?

Love it - works exactly as advertised. Several notes: 1) The Options dropdown (under style selector) gives more control 2) Below style selection is the "Apply to Selection" button. You might need to close the ad to see this button 3) You have to re-apply the formatting if you modify the table (e.g. insert a row)

Recommend adding the autofill formula and format option, similar to Excel when you create a table.

yeah, I vote for this too. Also an automatic filter on column headers would be great :)

I second this notion.

Best option available, this should be default. Very helpful customer service.

Slow, tedious and it won't let me style more than one row at a time. It was a lot quicker to manually create the styles on the rows I wanted using the default docs tool set.

Easy install, works like a charm! Now my rows and headers are easily identifiable, easily readable. Great add-on!!

For those having problems applying the format, you may need to close the ad at the bottom so you can see the "Apply" button. It works, but as mentioned previously, the formatting moves with the cell (unlike Excel). This means if you sort your data, you will need to reapply the formatting.

It's ok but it only formats superficially: - If you re-arrange the values of your table, guess what happens to your formatting! It all goes weird instead of keeping the formatting in place and only moving the values. - Same happens when you add/remove a line or column. Then you need to format the entire thing again. - If you select everything including the last column and there are no more columns on the right, the tool bug and has the "working" forever. It simply crashes there. So I dno't even bother waiting. I simply X it off and re-open the tool.
