doesn't work, error creating any rule. Should've read the reviews, everyone's having the same one. Why isn't this function built-in, anyway? Stop being lazy, google.

My deepest apologies. Google recently made some changes and its now broken. Now I can't have more than 3 rules. I've reached out to them multiple times but they're not responding, they were pretty prompt when i first developed it. I've also asked them to just make this a native feature in google docs. Basically Im guessing google doesn't want to store all the rules anymore? I've been wanting to add an save/load feature of rule sets but can't do that until google responds with whats going on.

Totally Broken. I contacted the developer. It seems this is known issue since at least Sept. 28. I get the same error as the last reviewer. If I hear back from the developers and/or this just gets fixed, I'll update the review.

Great idea, but it has problems. It is not working. Returns: Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try again or contact me and include the error message below! TypeError: Cannot read property "length" from null.

This is a brilliant tool. Thanks Its Just Chuck. Question: If I make a rule to highlight the word"is", the text highlighter highlights anything with the letter combo I and S. So words like "this" and "his" will get highlighted along with "is". Is there anyway to work around this? Or fix it?

Yes there is a workaround you can try. When you create the rule add a space before and after the word in the rule name

I like it this a lot. I know my problem words when I'm writing a draft but overlook them when I'm editing, so this helps me find and address them better. I'm looking forward to the save/load rules but for now I've just got one doc I copy and paste everything into.

Currently I am working on a patch for the ability to save/load rules and a fix for a bug not highlighting strings with special characters. Thanks for your patience!

Helpful for quickly highlighting prospect and client lists with recurring text identifiers (Aware, Concerned etc).

About time someone came up with something like this. Pretty useful.
