Overview
##NEW: With Timer-Component (Beta)##

TimeSheet utilizes your Google Calendar as a time recording tool. You simply create entries with #tags in your calendar and TimeSheet will create full reports about project usage, resource consumption and project status for you.

Why spending time on additionally tools if you can use what’s already there? TimeSheet is a great and free solution for freelancers and small sized companies.
•	Use Google Calender to track time
•	Use Google Sheets to create reports
•	Use the full functionality of Google Sheets to make it fit your needs
•	Share your time consumption among others as simply as you share calendars

How it’s done?
Our recommendation is to create a new calendar for your time recordings. You could technically use your personal calendar, but once you want to share your time recordings with somebody else, it would be a lot of work to separate all the entries.

Within that calendar you can create new entries representing your work-packages. Every entry must have a tag that identifies the group or project of the work-package. Behind that tag you can leave a comment to document the work you have done.
For example:
#project1 Learning about time recording with TimeSheet

Make sure that the entries start-time and end-time matches your actual time consumption. Once you create a report now, all entries of your calendar that are having a #tag in its title will be used to create a report. You are also able to apply filters.

What was disappointing to me is that I want the beginning date/time to the ending date/time, not just the hours worked. Unfortunately, none of the others I searched for do this either. The date format options are European too, and I need the American format so I could easily copy/paste onto my operational spreadsheet to save time. Other than those things, I enjoyed tinkering with it, but it wasn't enough for my need.

It's great! I reviewed a few approaches and this is the one that stands out by it`s simplicity! Leverages what exists, including a very 'graphical' user interface: G calendar! Thumbs up timesheet.mob.fish. Note that I can`t access their web site from Canada. BTW: create 1 min dummy tasks at start of period (make them recursive, e.g. weekly) to adjust the sort order on the reports.

I love this app and have been using it for months but lately it has stopped generating reports. The support site is down now, it would be nice if the author(s) behind the chrome extension would open source the code on Github if they are discontinuing development on it.

I downloaded the add-on. created a new calendar, put in a new event with a time-frame. I went to the add-on in google sheets created the report and it showed the project name but did not show the time-frame of the project. It did not show the hours spent on the project. I tried it several times. There must be a glitch or it is just not a good product.

This add-on is so elegant and easy to use with your Calendar. You get two hierarchical levels. Simply add your activities and name them simply, nothing more to do! For example, add blocks of time in your Calendar and name them "#doc User Manual" and "#doc Sales pamphlet" etc. Your time will be neatly sorted under a "doc" group in the period-end report. And it's free! Thank you so much timesheet.mob.fish

Really GREAT Only gives options to create or update the report. I wish you could edit the definition of an existing report also. It would save time if you want to duplicate the same report for a different calendar multiple times for example

Like and rely on it. This morning I experienced a temporary loss of functionality - the help didn't load, and the update and create report menu options disappeared. As others report, the developer website is defunct. But it started working again. Hopefully it is not an abandoned project.

I've used TimeSheet for about two years now, and it has become an integral part of how I track my daily activity as a writer. It's simple, flexible, and free. A+

Would Be Nice if it entered the The Date and Times rather than just the total hours, I still have todo that manually and it rather defeats the purpose of the App.
