So the marketplace says its for vTiger Help Desk Edition, but the install gives me access to Marketing Edition, so I can't try the Help Desk features such as Cases unless of course I pay for support edition. Disappointing

I assume you already have access to Marketing Edition, due to this binding on your domain Help Desk cannot be provisioned through Google Marketplace.
