I have passed the CPA exam and run many accounting systems. The instructions for linking the Bkper to Google sheets are just plain goofy and don't work as far as I can see. Getting a native English speaker to write the instructions might help. Those "copy" instructions!! Copy to what sheet? The sheets seem to lack the bottom tabs for the reports. This has been a giant waste of time. This is a good idea but it needs major explanations and organization. Looks like programmers run amok. Robert Messman, Denver, CO

Maybe the free version is ok but anything over that is just more problems. If you want to connect any accounts, be prepared to constantly have to reconnect them or for the connection to just not work. If I'm entering transactions by uploading CSV bank statements why would I just not make my own ledger in Google Sheets? What problem does Bkper solver? None that I can see. What problems does it cause? All of the problems. The instruction are terrible, nothing is clear, just make your own ledger and save your time and money.

This app is incredible and the support is fantastic. We use many features of the app including the automatic currency convertor bot which automatically converts currencies to ensure both books reconcile with each other. Also the import function helps with month-end bookkeeping as you can aggregate and calculate a batch of transactions in google sheets, then import into the associated book when ready. Reports are solid and communicate with the income statement and P&L in sheets. Highly recommend using the app...you really have nothing to lose!

Bkper is easy to use and offers lots of features. I love the Google Sheets linking feature that allows me to customize my reports using the saved Query feature. My linked bank account transactions are automatically imported, without me having to retrieve them every day. The Grouping feature allows me to put accounts in more than one group, depending on what I'm doing. The Installments Bot feature allows me to easily enter future expenses and income, so I can see my expected balances at the end of any quarter, or end of year. I recommend this software to any one!

Bkper is wonderful! I'm using it for a small money transfer business in Tonga. We have tens of thousands of records which are in Google Workspace which we need to import into our accounts. With Bkper this is an absolute breeze; no more exporting to CSV and then importing into another software package; it is almost painless now. And I can confirm that even when the number of transactions in the accounts is large, it's still snappy and quick to use.

Excellent double entry book keeping with sheets handling the reporting. Queries are a little limited, but if you know your way around a spreadsheet it is very capable.

It's just simply intuitive and easy to use. Double-entry bookkeeping is less prone to error compared to single-entry recommended for the self-employed so that's what I was looking for to get accurate accounts. I didn't know bkper would make it simple to do. I found bkper last week and have been hooked because the tutorials/YouTube videos make learning to use it easy. Its integration with other Google tools on the cloud makes it very convenient; having my accountant do my taxes now will be a matter of giving them access to my books online (no shoebox of receipts to carry around). Only good teams make good products so kudos to the bkper team; the app still has some things to work through but I have confidence in this team. My questions were promptly answered and satisfactorily too. Keep up the good work!

For the hands on business owner without an Accounting background. For the simplicity to review all transactions through your various bank accounts in one page. Integration to link all bank accounts,...when I can't log in to certain bank accounts or payments website because x-y-z, I can simply refer to bkper to check on payments. And! You speak directly to the founding team when you have a problem you can't resolve. For the ones looking for the underdogs! Mainstream accounting software sucks so much . Bkper is user friendly with a bit of coding/ Google Sheets knowledge. It took some time and research to find a bookeeper who is adept to work with you- but it's a product that once you're on board, you become a die hard.
